The Highlander Restaurant and Bar
The Highlander Bar and restaurant is in the heart of the village.
It has a wide choice of meals and offers well priced menus to suit most budgets. There is a pizza oven for Sundays and if you wish to take your food back to your accommodation we do takeaways!
The wine list is mostly Tasmanian, but we do offer lables from the Other Island for your fill of Shiraz and Cab Savs. The highlander also offers guests a range of Tasmanian beers and ciders and in season local beers on tap.
Whiskey. We have around 150 single malts in the Lodge Whisky Library and feature at least 15 in the Highlander at any time to mull over. Pre book a whiskey tasting session (min 2 people) and learn all about whiskey and try 6 single malts from around the world.
Arrive early and drink in the lounge with comfy armchairs in front of the fire.
Why not book a private room and have the chef prepare you a sumptuous 5 course dinner for you and your guests. ADVANCE BOOKING ESSENTIAL and minimum of 6 persons
The Highlander is open most nights for dinner from 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
