Tasmanian conferences, meetings and incentive travel in the wilderness is a speciality as we have dedicated conference facilities for three to a hundred guests and 300 acres to work and play in.

The ideal venue to exercise the mind, push the body or just chill out.

Tailored itineraries, complete catering, creative options, team-building activities and partner activities. Secretarial services, business centre and conference equipment is all available..

Play well - tee off on Tasmania’s highest golf course or use the gym. Partner programmes available. Wander through ancient forests to our own waterfall via our elevated tree walk. Spot Tasmanian wildlife and listen out for over 80 bird species on the Estate. Go secret lake kayaking or try your luck for the world’s purest fighting brown trout. Take stunning wilderness photography or help feed our shaggy Highland cattle.
Play squash, table tennis, boules – or tour by mountain bike and kayak. Breathe the cleanest air and wonder at the clearest stars.

Sleep well – luxury at The Lodge, contemporary comfort at the Scholars House or back to the future in an Art deco Cottage?

Eat well - dine in or dine out. Tasmanian provisions, groceries and small luxuries are all available from the Highland Store. Picnics, light lunches and expedition catering can be ordered from Teez Café. Guests also have full access to the large chef’s kitchen in The Scholars House. Those in the Cottages have 1930’s style kitchens updated with 21st century appliances.

Dine out? The Teez Café for big breakfasts, light lunches, great coffee, local wine plus morning and afternoon tea. Two levels of sensational views, stunning architecture and a huge wood fire.

The Highlander Arms is a Tasmanian pub with local beers, wine and great food. Fresh ingredients, home cooking and desserts that make you want to lick the bowl.

The Wildside Restaurant creates contemporary Tasmanian gourmet cuisine and is open for dinner most evenings. A very special dining experience presented by one of Tasmania’s leading chefs – complimented by a list of over 300 local and iconic wines.

Meet well - please ask us about our conference room and various meeting room options on the Estate. Meeting management can be stressful yet choosing the right meeting location and conference partner can be career enhancing. We have six dedicated meeting venues and with options ranging from The Great Hall to the great outdoors, Tarraleah really can present you with a world of possibilities.
