Walking on the Tarraleah Estate or further into the wilderness can be a safe and highly enjoyable experience or something more challenging for the more adventurous.

Adventure walkers based in holiday cottages or luxury accommodation in The Lodge, are all within a short drive of the Overland Trail.

More modest walks of between fifty minutes to a couple of hours can all start on the Tarraleah Estate.

Almost every guest to the Estate stretches their legs at some point, walking along a path through temperate rainforest, towering gums and huge ferns, often accompanied by the intriguing songs of lyrebirds. 

Our adventure guides will take you to some very special places for a truly unique experience. Gentle exercise is involved but no experience is necessary. We can tailor half or full day tours to suit most interests including wild flowers, wildlife and birding.
