Polished wooden floor boards, warm fires, queen size beds, a fully equipped kitchen and dinning area - these Art deco cottages are self contained, rather large time capsules with modern facilities.
With one to three bedrooms, many of them have original Art deco furnishings or examples of Tasmanian fine furniture making. All have TV’s, dvds, electric blankets and laundry, plus a 1930’s style kitchen with 21st Century appliances.

Clothing, fishing supplies, Tasmanian craft and small luxuries are all available at the Highland Store. Internet and telephone are also accessible on the Estate
Endless activities, unique tours, walks, wildlife, pioneering history and wilderness are all on your doorstep. Play golf, squash, use the gym if you have to, go trout fishing, mountain biking, secret lake kayaking, wonder at the stars and spot over 80 different species of birds, all within striking distance of the Estate.
And there is always the risk that you might see one of our resident wombats snuffling around the back door.
